Terms of service

Effective 1 January 2026. These terms form an agreement between you and Pockevltquirkly Media GmbH governing your use of pockevltquirkly.bond. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

1. About us and the service

Pockevltquirkly Media GmbH, company number CHE-329.774.185, Alpenblickweg 14, 8032 Zürich, Switzerland, publishes editorial route guidance for scenic travel in Switzerland. The service consists of freely accessible articles and a contact form. We do not act as a travel agent, tour operator, ticket retailer or booking intermediary, and no contract of carriage or accommodation arises through this site.

2. Your obligations

You agree to use the site lawfully and reasonably. In particular you must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting environment or any connected system.
  • Introduce malware, attempt denial-of-service attacks, or interfere with site availability for others.
  • Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content in bulk, whether manually or by automated means, without our prior written permission.
  • Use the contact form to send unlawful, abusive, defamatory, misleading or unsolicited commercial messages.
  • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or organisation when contacting us.

You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you send us and for ensuring you have the right to send it.

3. Intellectual property

All text, layout, code, illustrations, the site design and the Pockevltquirkly name and mountain mark are owned by or licensed to Pockevltquirkly Media GmbH and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may read, print and share individual pages for personal, non-commercial use, and you may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a working link to the source page.

You may not republish substantial portions of our content, create derivative guides from it, use it to train machine-learning systems, or present it as your own. Photographic placeholders are supplied by third-party services under their own terms. Requests for licensing should go to [email protected].

4. Accuracy and no warranty

Our guides describe general planning approaches, route structures and comparisons. Transport timetables, lift operating seasons, opening hours, fares, weather and trail conditions change frequently and without notice, and mountain travel carries inherent risk. Content is provided for general information only and does not constitute professional, safety or financial advice.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and uninterrupted availability. You must verify any operational detail with the relevant transport operator, tourism office or official authority before acting on it, and you remain responsible for your own safety and route decisions.

5. Third-party links

We link to external sites, such as transport operators and tourism bodies, where they are the authoritative source. We do not control those sites, do not endorse all of their content, and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or their handling of your data. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you leave our site.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, Pockevltquirkly Media GmbH shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost profits, missed connections, cancelled bookings, additional travel costs, or loss of data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred Swiss francs (CHF 100). Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the site.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict or withdraw access to the site, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, including where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached or where technical or security reasons require it. We may also modify, archive or remove any content. Sections concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law survive any termination.

9. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms to reflect changes in our service or in applicable law. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated, and continued use of the site after that date constitutes acceptance of the amended terms. Material changes will be highlighted on this page for a reasonable period.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the substantive law of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The ordinary courts of the Canton of Zürich have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory right a consumer may have to bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence.

Before starting formal proceedings we ask you to contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve the matter directly; we aim to acknowledge disputes within ten working days.

11. General

If any provision is held invalid, the remainder continues in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with our privacy policy and cookie policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site. You may not assign your rights under these terms; we may assign ours to a successor in connection with a reorganisation or transfer of our business.
